This video was created for the Greater Cincinnati chapter of the Association for Talent Development (ATD), to streamline onboarding for new board members. It introduces them to the organization and their roles, the overall makeup of the board, and outlines general expectations. Synthesizing information from several documents and training materials into a short, engaging solution, this high-impact microlearning quickly gets new board members the key information they need to get started in their roles.

The use of an AI avatar provides a consistent, human-like presenter while keeping content evergreen, avoiding reshoots as leaders transition from the organization. The use of AI-generated closed captions in Articulate Storyline, reviewed and edited for accuracy, enhances accessibility.

This animated video introduces project management teams to how to implement a Kanban board, or a "sign board", to manage projects and improve efficiency of workflow. It discusses the components of a Kanban board and how to create one, as well as the benefits of using this tool to manage projects. An animated video provides an engaging explanation of a technical topic, and accessibility is built in through AI-generated closed captions in Articulate Storyline, reviewed and edited for accuracy.

This screen capture video introduces project management teams to the Microsoft Planner application and how to use it to manage project tasks. It demonstrates how to create a board in the Planner application, add tasks and due dates, assign tasks to team members, update the status of task completion, and view the overall project from a monthly and weekly layout. The use of a screen capture provides an engaging demonstration of how to use various components of a software tool.

This microlearning course was developed to streamline initial consultations, optimizing time and efficiency by addressing a gap in new patients’ foundational knowledge before their first visit with a naturopathic doctor. It explores what naturopathic medicine is, the kinds of healing it can offer, and debunking common myths.

A Rise microlearning was chosen to provide easy access through the practice’s website, viewable on mobile or desktop, and give learners a more engaging experience than a stagnant job aid. An interactive knowledge check provides immediate feedback, ensuring patients feel informed and empowered prior to their first visit.

This job aid accompanies the e-Learning module on Promoting an Inclusive Workplace, in which employees learned how to counteract implicit bias. It is intended to serve as a quick reference that employees can easily access at their workstations, in a conference room, or pinned to channels in collaboration software, as a reminder of the four different methods they can use to address implicit bias when it happens at work.

This job aid accompanies the e-Learning module on Improving Communication with Your Supervisees, in which new managers learned how to utilize a specific strategy to communicate clearly with their supervisees and provide them support. It serves as a quick, desk-side reference of the five elements of the strategy, providing a quick refresher whether communicating during performance review season, drafting emails, or check-in meetings with supervisees.

This multimodal job aid was designed for an armored combat gym, The Cincinnati Barbarians Academy, to close performance gaps in facility maintenance. It provides just-in-time guidance on sanitation protocols and etiquette in a dual-delivery method, including a printed reference guide to place in high-traffic areas, and a QR code for a Google Doc checklist of the content, providing quick access on a mobile device as members clean different areas of the facility. The job aid also includes a custom avatar created using Google Gemini to meet client specifications.
